Commission: Donations & Local Road Speed Limits

The Perry County Commission met Monday, August 21, 2023, in regular session with only a quorum—seven members—present, and handled routine county business by approving unanimously the following motions:

–by Jeff Graves, second by Mary Ann Qualls, to approve Gaye Treadwell as a new notary;

–by Jonathan Hickerson, second by Daniel McCoy, to approve county committee appointments as presented, with the same duties as last year;

–by Qualls, second by Rodger Barber, to change the county road list distance on New Era Landing Road from .680 miles to .570 miles, as recommended by County Road Superintendent Robert Dedrick;

–by Barber, second by Hickerson, to change the speed limit on…………….
