RICKIE JACK PARNELL

Mr. Parnell, 64, of Linden, died Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center. A graveside service was held Thursday, August 10, 2023, 11:00 a.m., at Qualls Cemetery. Young Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. He was born in Linden, the son of the late Jack Wilburn Parnell and Ola Victoria Qualls Parnell. He worked at Graham Lumber for over forty years as a forklift driver. He was a graduate of Perry County High School, Class of 1977. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a

grandson, Jackson Edward Mercer. Survivors include his children, Shelly (Curt) Mercer of Linden, R.J. (Jennifer) Parnell of Lawrenceburg and Hobie Parnell of Linden; grandchildren, Ashlynn, Jake, and Cole Mercer and Jack Ellis Parnell; and a brother, Bobby (Carolyn) Parnell of Linden.
