22,630 Library Visits Last Year

The Perry County Public Library branches continue to be busy and resourceful places for the county’s 8,000+ local residents.

From July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, the following statistics were recorded for Lobelville and Linden combined, according to Nan Garrett, Library Manager:

–Total visitors, 22,630;

–Adult circulation, 28,237;

–Juvenile circulation, 11,096;

–Electronic users, 16,802;

–Adult patrons added, 201;

–Juvenile patrons added, 40.

Adult Circulation includes books, DVDs, audio books, ebooks, and e audiobooks, and the same holds true for juvenile materials. Young adult material is contained within the adult numbers.

Electronic includes computer users inside the library and WiFi hotspot users. Visitors,are tallied with accurate door counters.
