Perry County Vikings Legacy Club: Arnold, Wilder, Broadway Inducted
Following are remarks made at Friday’s Vikings Legacy Club dinner about the 2023 inductees, Angie Arnold, Chris Broadway, and Jackie Wilder.
ANGIE ARNOLD
“Angie Simmons Arnold had a prolific high school softball career in her four years of playing for the Lady Vikings from 1989 to 1992.
“Before we talk about some of her individual success, let’s first talk a minute about the team success the Lady Vikings softball team had while she was a part of the team, lettering all four years as a varsity player.

“Chris Broadway was an outstanding two-sport star for the Perry County Vikings basketball and baseball teams from 1985 to 1989. He lettered all four years in both sports.
