Buffalo River Review

Was your grandfather a Cub Scout, mom a Den Mother, uncle a Merit Badge Counselor? Or are you the first in your family to go down the Scouting trail?
No matter what your Scouting legacy, you are invited to celebrate with local Scouts on February 6, 2010, at the Courthouse Square in Linden, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. Scouts from all over the nation will be celebrating the 100 Years of Scouting in America at this time.
Come join Scouts for BSA Anniversary cake and get your one-of-a-kind special commemorative 100 Years of Scouting patch. Patches are $3 and will never be available again.
After the cake cutting Scouts will be planting a Boy Scouts Centennial Tree as a symbol often identified with family and a lasting legacy to scouting. Scouting plays a role in making families better and stronger and their involvement is central to the scouting experience.
For 100 years, Scouting has given American families opportunities to build memories, share experiences, and develop strong values. Scouting families are invited to share your stories by submitting them to the Buffalo River Review, and continuing the tradition. For those without a long history of Scouting, you can start today!
