TENNIE L. “KENNY” HORNER Mr. Horner, 93, of Linden, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at Maury Regional Medical Center. A funeral service was held Thursday, August 26, 2010, 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Young Funeral Home, with Rick Cottrell officiating. Burial was at Ward-Peace Cemetery. He was a native of Perry County, the son of the late Carroll Horner and Melissa Richardson Horner. He was a retired construction worker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two wives, Amanda Ruth Ward Horner and Eva Wilson Horner; two brothers, Ollie Horner and Taft Horner; a great grandson, Jacob Burcham; and three stepchildren, Bill Wilson, Joe Wilson, and Frank Wilson. Survivors include his daughters, Paulette Horner (Frank) Burcham, and Patsy Horner (Billy) Lemay; a step daughter-in-law, Betty Wilson; grandchildren, April (Chris) White, Frank Junior (Dana) Burcham, Amanda Burcham, Robbie (Shirley) Hinson, and Chris Hinson; twelve great grandchildren, and three step-great grandchildren.
RICKY DAVIS HINSON Mr. Hinson, 55, of Linden, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at his residence. A funeral service was held Saturday, August 28, 2010, 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Young Funeral Home, with Jerry Whiteside and Jerry McDonald officiating. Burial was at Hinson Cemetery. He was born in Hohenwald, the son of the late Leon Herbert Hinson and Maxie O’neida Hensley Hinson. He was retired from Fisher & Company, and enjoying playing music in the area for many years. Survivors include his wife, Debra Kay McAlister Hinson of Linden; two sons, Anthony Ethridge and Joey Hinson, both of Linden; two daughters, Sabrina (Shane) Baker and Andrea Ethridge, both of Hohenwald; a step-daughter, Misty Himes Heston of Kentucky; a brother, Herbert (Ruby) Hinson of Linden; a sister, Patsy (Art) Ethridge of Goodlettsville; and grandchildren, Dylan Lomax, Gavin Potts, Landon McClain, Chasity Baker, and Chanley Baker.
